Requesting Help

If you are a local or regional building official or emergency manager in Washington in need of volunteer assistance in the aftermath of a disaster related event, WAsafe Building Safety Evaluators (BSEs) are ready to respond. WAsafe maintains a database of trained volunteers willing to assist with providing post-disaster building safety evaluations (rapid and detailed safety assessments). 

To get help from WAsafe:

1. Determine your needed resources
2. Submit a request to the State for WAsafe BSEs
3. Be prepared to support safety evaluations and the volunteer BSEs
